Our Story
In 2007, Sean set out with his wife Julia Lally to begin the first mobile cycle maintenance business in the city of London.
Within 12 months, they had moved from their humble "one man and a trailer" run from the back of a narrowboat on a London canal, to managing multiple site cycle service contracts for major organisations, corporates and public sector bodies across Greater London.
Expanding further into the UK to incorporate cycle maintenance training into their services, they opened Cycle Systems Academy in South Devon.
Eventually, moving to Switzerland (because......bikes) they now use their extensive knowledge in how to run and sustain a high quality, profitable bicycle business to manage a mobile maintenance Associate network world-wide.
And the rest, they say, is history.

Cycle Systems' mobile bike mechanic franchise scheme is a process that takes you from your desire to run a business, all the way through training to execution on the ground. We begin with a thorough application process, helping us both decide if we are a right fit. The project takes at least a year or two of close contact and support, so our assessment is in depth and involves workshopping start up financials, plus some market research. At the end of this time together, you will have your business plan in tact and the basis from which to raise finance if needed - and if we decide to mutually go ahead, then we end this phase prepared excited to move forward.
